Summer Sports Interest Form
We’re preparing to launch summer sports programs in West Seattle and are gathering early interest to help with planning. This form allows athletes, coaches, and Unified partners to share their interest in participating. There is no commitment required. Your response helps us plan rosters, staffing, and resources so we can support everyone who wants to be involved.
Summer Unified Sports: Bocce & Golf
Special Olympics Washington West Seattle plans to offer Unified Bocce and Unified Golf this summer. These programs bring athletes and Unified Partners together on the same teams and are well suited for a wide range of abilities. Both sports offer opportunities to build skills, confidence, and connection in a supportive team environment.
Program details will be shared as planning and field space are finalized.
What Is a Unified Partner?
In Special Olympics Washington Unified Sports, athletes with and without intellectual disabilities participate together on the same team. A Unified Partner is a teammate without an intellectual disability who plays alongside athletes to promote teamwork, shared experiences, and a positive team environment, both on and off the field.
